Since David Haye’s most recent attempt to talk up a money fight and find an easy early KO against a Cruiserweight didn’t go so well, he is apparently deciding to turn down the difficulty setting further.

I am a UFC fan and I have seen all of Jim Manuwa’s fights within the organization. He is a good Light Heavyweight (205 lbs) and is probably a fight or two away from fighting for the title if he keeps winning. He also hits really, really hard.
He is also not a very good boxer. No MMA fighters really are. They just do not get the time to specialize. Even when they are trying to improve their boxing, they have to spend time incorporating defense for kicks, takedowns, clinches, etc. Pro boxers get to focus 100% on boxing, obviously.
Manuwa called out Haye after his most recent win, a first round stoppage of Corey Anderson back in March. Haye is responding that he would like to do this on the undercard of a potential Mayweather/McGregor fight. And you know what? Fine. David Haye is not going to fight Joshua, Wilder, Parker, or Fury any time soon. I wouldn’t rule out Manuwa winning against a Mark de Mori or an Arnold Gerjajnsjkbkaknakjncak in a boxing match. We all know that is the level Haye will return against if not Manuwa, and at least this has a fun freak show vibe.
The UFC fan in me is crying over a wasted fight in Manuwa’s prime, but this is a boxing website so I will just tell him to shut up.
