Adrien Broner arrested in an SUV full of bullet holes

Adrien Broner, Boxing

In what has been common place over the last few years, Adrien Broner (33-2, 24 KOs) is once again back in jail. This time he was pulled over because his SUV was riddled with bullet holes. Of course it was. It wasn’t the bullet holes, however, that got the talented welterweight in trouble, but an outstanding 2014 Kentucky warrant for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Broner last fought in February in scoring a fair split decision win over the always tough Adrian Granados. He doesn’t have a fight lined up, but Showtime is planning on putting together a summer card around him. I don’t imagine this arrest will impact that if none of the others have. Most recently Broner was arrested last year on felony assault charges for allegedly beating and robbing a man he had lost $12,000 in bowling related bets to. Yes, bowling bets.

As for the bullet holes, Broner told the police that someone was shooting at him after he left a bar. Hopefully nothing more comes of that.
