Dan Rafael of ESPN.com posted the purses for the top fighters tomorrow night in Brooklyn on Twitter a few hours ago. We have purses for the main card fighters and the main event of the Sho Extreme prelims.
Purses:
Andre Berto – $1.2 million, Shawn Porter – $1 million
Jermell Charlo – $100k, Charles Hatley – $85k
Amanda Serrano – $12k, Dahiana Santana – $6k
The is nothing too surprising to be found here except that I wouldn’t have known what to expect Serrano to make at all. As for Berto making more than Porter, he is still probably a bigger name even if Porter is the better fighter at this point. They are both doing well at least.
