PBC on FS1 returns tonight for a traditional Tuesday night broadcast of the series. Top PBC junior welterweight prospect Eddie Ramirez returns in the main event to face Erick Bone. Bone is always a tough out and should serve as a stiff test here for the rising potential future star.

Erick Bone (16-4, 8 KOs) first appeared in the consciousness of fight fans in March of 2015 when he stepped in last minute to face Shawn Porter. Though he was cleanly stopped in five, Bone fought very well in the first few rounds against a true top fighter. It was only after he appeared to hurt his ankle and lose mobility that Porter was able to dominate him.
Bone next fought Chris Algeri and lost a competitive decision. Following that bout, he had his most recent fight in another decision loss to Miguel Vasquez. Though the Ecuadorian fighter is winless in his last three bouts, he has fought competitively with true world class competition in each of those losses.
Eddie Ramirez (16-0, 11 KOs) has not been losing. Twice in a row now PBC has matched Ramirez with fellow unbeaten prospects. First he fought the talented, 11-0 Kevin Watts before taking on popular Texan and 13-0 Ryan Karl. Twice Eddie Ramirez has come out with stoppage wins in the second half of the fight.
Against Watts, Eddie Ramirez hit the deck pretty hard early in the fight. His pressure, however, carried the day and eventually Watts wilted to his body work. Ramirez controlled the incredibly game Ryan Karl start to finish and eventually his relentless attack wore down the slightly lesser athlete. Ramirez is an excellent prospect who can bring tremendous pressure if the opponent doesn’t put a stop to it early.
The show starts at 9 PM eastern. A fight between junior welterweights Dennis Galarza (15-2, 9 KOs) and Mexico’s Omar Tienda (18-4, 11 KOs) over ten round serves as this show’s co-feature. An eight-round battle between unbeaten featherweight prospects Xavier Martinez (7-0, 4 KOs) and Prince Smalls (11-0-1, 4 KOs) will open the show.
