Bookings: Rances Barthelemy, Warren-Oubaali, & Murry-N’Dam

Two and a half fights have been booked including a world title.

  • WBC Title – The vacant WBC bantamweight title will be on the line on December 22nd. Unbeaten two time French Olympian Nordine Oubaali (14-0, 11 KOs) will meet American three time Olympian Rau’shee Wareen (16-2, 4 KOs) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Neither man medaled in any Olympic appearances, but fights on any level between men who competed at a five combined Olympic games are a rare thing indeed. Unfortunately, as of now this well matched world title fight is being contested without a broadcast outlet as it will take place before the PBC on FOX tripleheader. Here is to hoping for a Fox Sports Go stream at the very least.
  • The Return – The return of Cuban former two two division world titleholder Rances Barthelemy (26-1, 13 KOs) could also be featured on the very same hypothetical stream. Barthelemy does not have an opponent as of yet, but it is known that he will be competing at a 137 lb catchweight on the PBC show. The Cuban won belts at 130 and 135 lbs before coming up short in a rematch with Kyril Relikh for a 140 lb junior welterweight belt and this catchweight probably indicates that he will be looking to return to lightweight if his body allows for it. The main FOX show this will take place before is headlined by the Charlo brothers both competing and will be opened by a heavyweight contest featuring Dominic Breazeale.
  • Murray-N’Dam – December 22nd is a busy date. Not only will the last Saturday before Christmas feature the above FOX tripleheader, but two major cards will compete head to head in the UK. Matchroom will be putting on Whyte-Chisora II while Queensbury will have Warrington-Frampton. Added to the latter Frank Warren bill is the return of popular British middleweight Martin Murray (37-4-1, 17 KOs) against fellow fringe contender Hassan N’Dam (36-3, 21 KOs). This is a well matched bout between two men looking to prove they are top ten guys.
